Measuring the growth of Scotland's fintech sector in 2022

Scotland's booming fintech sector is experiencing from strong year-on-year growth, with a total of £1.3bn invested in the FinTech Scotland community during 2022 alone. The largest area attracting investment was Data, Cloud, and Analytics with a 44.6% share, followed by Payments and Transfers with 30.4%. At the centre of Scottish fintech activity is the FinTech Scotland Cluster, bringing together cross-sector partners to achieve progress over different verticals.
