The project will extend Eaton’s research, engineering, and manufacturing capacity in the region. It will also significantly boost Dubai’s capabilities in the advanced manufacturing of electrical and electronic components.

This new facility will incorporate 20 different Industry 4.0 technologies, including artificial intelligence, while also fulfilling sustainability objectives. Strategically located in Jafza, Eaton will benefit from advanced infrastructure and seamless logistics via Jebel Ali Port, enabling it to efficiently serve key markets.

The new campus will also feature a new strategic engineering centre, housing several hundred engineers. It will focus on product innovation, sustainable and smart manufacturing, and power management solutions for data centres, utilities, commercial buildings and related industries.

The investment is in line with Dubai’s D33 strategy that aims to double the size of its economy by 2033. It aims to achieve this through 100+ projects focusing on innovation, infrastructure, and sustainable growth.
