China-based, Shandong Lingong Construction Machinery company (SDLG), a member of the Volvo Group, has opened its first manufacturing facility in India at Peenya, Bengaluru.
This state-of-the-art production facility is equipped with advanced technology and has capacity for comprehensive manufacturing of five products, which allows it to produce 1,000 units per shift on an annual basis. This will not only help to strengthen local production capabilities and the introduction of new products, but also contribute to expanding its customer base in other countries.

Since 2009, the company has been present in India, offering a range of wheel loaders, motor graders, and excavators which are used to work at ports, roads, mining, steel or cement production.
In India, SDLG has been a pioneer in the introduction of innovative products such as electric wheel loaders L956HEV.
