US-based cell analysis solutions company Cytek Biosciences Inc has opened a new 4645.15m2 manufacturing facility in Wuxi, China. The new plant aims to increase the company’s manufacturing capacity to meet the growing worldwide demand for comprehensive cell analysis solutions.
In addition to bolstering Cytek’s manufacturing capabilities, the facility will also host Cytek Wuxi operations, research and development, marketing, human resources, and sales teams.
According to Wenbin Jiang, CEO of Cytek Biosciences, “The increasing application of cellular analysis in various fields, including immuno-oncology, infectious diseases, and immunology, has led to a rising need for advanced cell analysis solutions & we are taking a proactive approach to accommodating it. Our roadmap has us continuing to expand our global footprint and continuing to give scientists the tools and support they need to advance their research.”
By building the facility in Wuxi, China, Cytek is looking to maintain supplier relationships in the region while making it easier to manufacture its own components. The Wuxi site is the company’s second location in China after Shanghai.
Headquartered in Fremont, California, Cytek Biosciences Inc. is a manufacturer and supplier of flow cytometry products and services. It has offices and manufacturing locations in the US, the Netherlands, Japan and China.
