US-based AQuity Solutions, a provider of outsourced virtual scribing, medical transcription and medical coding services, has launched a new operations centre in Chennai, India. The company will initially hire more than 200 clinical documentation specialists. It eventually plans to add up to 1,000 staff by the end of 2022.
“With the potential we have in the southern part of India, the Chennai location will boost our presence as a major regional player for healthcare documentation services,” said chief executive officer Kashyap Joshi. “This new office offers us access to a highly skilled local workforce that can help us more accurately capture the complete patient story.”

The office is located in the DLF Cybercity corporate park and will offer advanced technologies and local industry expertise.
AQuity Solutions is headquartered in Cary, North Carolina, and employs more than 7,000 clinical documentation specialists throughout the US, India, Canada, the UK and Australia.
