The Egelhof Group, a Germany-based company specialising in the production of expansion valves for e-mobility and air conditioning, has opened its first factory at B1 Park in Radom, Poland.
The new factory is part of the group’s strategy and drive to further expand into European markets. The selection of the factory was based on an analysis of critical factors for the effective operation of a production facility.
Colliers, an international investment management company specialising in the real estate sector, advised Egelhorf on site selection and lease negotiations.
Filip Deleżyński, Colliers’ logistics and industrial agency director, said: “We have indicated Radom to Egelhof as a location with great potential, suitable for a production plant. The city is distinguished by a stable labour market, where employee turnover is lower than in the largest Polish centres, and less competition from global brands creates favourable conditions for new investors.”
Grzegorz Paluch, also a director of logistics and industrial agency at Colliers, highlights that BI Park Random has “been specialised in metal processing for many years” and that “the individual approach of the property owner to the tenant” is expected to streamline the launch of operations in September.
Katarzyna Bojanowicz, vice president of Bojanowicz Investments, said: “The favourable location and easy access to highly qualified staff, especially in the manufacturing sector, are key assets of this venture and will be invaluable in supporting the company’s business goals in Poland.”
