The AIGCC plans to gather over 1,000 companies and startups to co-develop new AI solutions, fostering an innovation ecosystem. It will also work with over 120 universities, aiming to train 100,000 AI professionals annually.
With the investment, Alibaba Cloud has reaffirmed Singapore’s position as a strategic hub for its long-term growth in Asia-Pacific and beyond.
Alibaba Cloud has also unveiled its third data centre in Malaysia while announcing plans for a second data centre in the Philippines in October 2025. These aim to meet the growing demand for cloud and AI services across Southeast Asia.
