The new 33,800sqm space includes a three-story building featuring 15,000sqm of advanced manufacturing space. It will address the growing demand for luxury one-piece toilets.

Toto is shifting more production from Asia-based plants to North America as part of its Americas growth strategy. The company aims to enhance its manufacturing resilience and advance its long-term sustainability goals. Additionally, localised production will ensure timely delivery while also strengthening its North American supply chain.

Toto has expanded its production capacity in the Americas to approximately one million units annually across its plants in Morrow, Lakewood, and Mexico. The new development will contribute an additional 300,000 units per year.

The Morrow factory aims to enhance quality, precision, and operational efficiency. Key innovations include a tank bonding robot for improved toilet assembly, an automation fleet of 34 robots, and automated guided vehicles. Furthermore, two new convection-heated kilns are planned for 2027, which will further enhance energy efficiency and reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 23 per cent.
