US-based Shippo, the developer of a shipping platform for growing e-commerce businesses, has opened a new European R&D centre in Dublin, Ireland. This is the company’s first European office and will allow Shippo to deliver more tailored solutions to its customers and partners across the region.
The company plans to create 120 new local jobs by 2024 to advance its global growth strategy.

Headquartered in San Francisco, California, Shippo helps e-commerce businesses connect to multiple global shipping carriers through its online logistic solution tool. The company has raised more than $150m in funding and was recently valued at $1bn.
