Romet Limited, a Canadian-based manufacturer of assembly and precision measurement and monitoring solutions for energy companies, has announced its first US facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. The project involves a $7m investment and is set to create 80 new jobs.
In order to facilitate this project, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and Indy Economic Development (IED) have collaborated closely with Romet Limited over the past six months.

Brent Collver, CEO of Romet Limited, notes that the company’s US expansion is “about getting closer to the customers we serve every day, increasing our production capabilities, and building a more resilient and responsive supply chain.”
“Indianapolis represents the ideal location to anchor our US operations as it serves as a major hub for precision manufacturing and talent, and provides convenient access to all US-based customers via direct flights or land transportation. With this new facility, Romet will be better positioned to support the US natural gas industry with reduced lead times, greater product service, and increased flexibility,” Collver adds.
The expected project timeline will enable Romet Limited to strategically expand its operations, providing both short-term and long-term advantages to the local, regional, and state economies. The city and state are enthusiastic about welcoming another Canadian company to the region.
