At the core of the Champaign Partner Production Center is a specialised formulation unit, designed to manufacture suspension concentrate, emulsifiable concentrate and ester formulations for its brand partners. Additional capabilities are anticipated for the second phase of development, set to begin next year.
The facility is equipped with six fully-automated production lines and 22 docks for high-volume logistics. It supports bulk service operations that allow for rapid loading and unloading of product material on-site, which Rainbow says makes it “uniquely positioned to meet the fast-paced demands of Midwestern agriculture.”
The facility also has Free Trade Zone designation, which allows for more efficient and cost-effective import and export operations.
Tom Lyons, general manager of Rainbow North America, commented: “We’re thrilled to bring Rainbow’s advanced global manufacturing capability to Champaign – the heart of Midwestern AgTech. This facility represents our deep commitment to empowering our partners with a new standard for quality and efficiency – bringing agrochemical supply, unchained.”
