Konversational, a Dublin-based technology consultancy firm, inaugurated its first US office in New York as part of an expansion drive. The move is expected to generate more than €5m ($5.8m) in revenue and create as many as 40 new positions at the New York headquarters during the first year.
The organisation sees this transition as a natural progression of its operations, having first established a strong base in Europe. The US expansion comes less than 18 months after Konversational established offices in France, Germany and Switzerland. Currently, the company has a workforce of 80 IT specialists distributed across six cities: Dublin, London, Paris, Nantes, Zurich, and Munich.
“Expanding into the US is a significant milestone for us and one that we have been building towards since opening our Dublin headquarters less than five years ago. The US market alone represents a tremendous growth opportunity for Konversational,” John Gilleran, co-CEO of Konversational, said.
“We are looking forward to bringing our award-winning market-leading services to the US market and to supporting clients achieve commercial ambitions, underpinned and supported by the global leading technology solutions of ServiceNow,” he added.
Gilleran established the business in partnership with Richard Guy in 2020. Both of them formerly worked at Accenture. Konversational is now one of the largest firms working with ServiceNow, a digital workflow firm, in the UK and Ireland.
The company’s US expansion was supported by Enterprise Ireland. Aiden McKenna, Enterprise Ireland’s regional director for the Americas, said that Konversational has been “hugely successful across Europe.”
