Ichia’s new site, situated at the Kulim Hi-Tech Park, is its second in the region. It will produce printed circuit boards, related assemblies and components for the automotive and telecommunication sectors.

Spanning 55,000sqm, the facility incorporates automated production lines, an IoT-enabled system, and artificial intelligence technology. These features are all in alignment with industry 4.0 principles. Furthermore, these advanced manufacturing capabilities will meet the increasing demand in key sectors while also improving production efficiency and quality.

Huang Chiu-Yung, chairman of Ichia Technologies Group, stated that with the new facility, Malaysia will become the Group’s second-largest manufacturing base.

“Amid the ongoing restructuring of global supply chains and the challenges brought by US reciprocal tariffs, our new facility in Kulim, Malaysia, will serve as a key driver for the Group’s long-term sustainable growth,” he added.
