France-based Horizon Software, a provider of electronic trading solutions and algorithmic technology, has opened a new office in Singapore to better serve local clients. The opening follows a period of significant growth across the Asia-Pacific region.

The company has cited Singapore’s reputation as one of the main financial hubs in Asia as a key motivation behind its investment. Horizon Software plans to work with the leading banks, brokers and trading companies based in the city-state and bring larger-scale project offerings for prospects in the area.

In a press release, chief executive officer Sylvain Thieullent said: “We are proud to officially announce the opening of our new office in Singapore, as a result of remarkable growth in the region. Horizon has always been a customer-centric business, with solid and out-of-the-box financial solutions. We want our clients to have the best possible experience and with the opening of the new office, we will be able to meet the growing needs of our clients in the Asia-Pacific region more efficiently, while providing them with the highest level of service.”
