Cockroach Labs, a US-based company that provides a cloud-native, distributed structured query language database, ultra-resilience, data locality and massive scale to modern cloud applications, plans to open a new R&D office in India. The company will create an unspecified number of new jobs through the project.
Cockroach Labs was founded by three former Google employees in 2015 and is headquartered in New York City. It lists Netflix among its key customers and was recently valued at $5bn.
