The new facility aims to function as an essential distribution centre for Amazon packages, facilitating quicker and more efficient delivery services across Sydney. The centre is scheduled to open ahead of the upcoming peak shopping season.

This site is designed to handle up to 50,000 packages per day, signifying the company’s commitment to expanding its operational network in the city.
The company claims that it will create new job opportunities for the local community in preparation for the festive season and beyond. This includes providing local operational roles and establishing pathways for local entrepreneurs to become Amazon Delivery Service Partners, facilitated by the launch of this new facility.
Paramjot Singh, Amazon logistics country leader said, “We’re thrilled to officially open our Chullora logistics site, demonstrating Amazon’s continued commitment to Western Sydney. This investment will not only create valuable employment opportunities but will also significantly enhance our delivery capabilities in one of Sydney’s fastest-growing regions.”
He added: “With the site now operational, we can better serve our customers while supporting local economic growth. The site’s location in Chullora provides excellent connectivity to major transport routes, enabling us to optimise our last-mile delivery operations.”
