Agilent Technologies, a US-based provider of laboratory tools and software services, has unveiled a new biopharma experience centre in Hyderabad, India.

The centre will facilitate the entire drug development process by integrating advanced laboratory technologies, expert training, and regulatory-compliant workflows. Additionally, it will assist researchers, scientists, and companies in the expedited and efficient development of life-saving medications.

Agilent’s new facility will provide comprehensive solutions in key areas such as chromatography, mass spectrometry, cell analysis, and lab informatics. It will enable companies to replicate real laboratory settings, assess quality and compliance, and collaboratively develop market-ready solutions.

Padraig McDonnell, CEO of Agilent Technologies, stated, “It reinforces our support for the ‘Make-in-India’ initiative by empowering local innovation, nurturing talent, and enabling scalable, affordable, and sustainable solutions.”

“Agilent is already working closely with many of India’s leading biopharma companies. With this centre, we aim to strengthen those relationships,” he added.

Duddila Sridhar Babu, Telangana’s Minister for Information Technology, Electronics, Communications, and Industries, stated that the launch of the Agilent Biopharma Experience Centre marks a significant milestone in strengthening Telangana’s position as a global leader in life sciences.
