The newly established facility is situated next to Hanwha Power Systems’ US subsidiary in Houston, representing the company’s third service centre globally, following the ones in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, Korea, and Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Hanwha’s compressors are utilised in a range of industrial facilities that necessitate high-pressure power for the movement of substantial quantities of materials. With the establishment of the new Houston centre, the company anticipates enhancing its presence in Texas’s oil-focused sectors, such as drilling and refining.
Hanwha Power Systems America President Mike Sicker said: “Hanwha Power Systems has recognised the need for a US base of operations and has responded with a brand-new service and packaging centre, right here in the heart of Texas.”
He added, “We will do our best to meet our customers’ needs and will actively demonstrate our capabilities in the North American oil and gas compressor market.”
