Arch Capital Group, headquartered in the British Overseas Territory of Bermuda, has announced the launch of two new global capabilities centres in India. The centres are based in Trivandrum and Pune, India, with a third in Hyderabad coming soon.
The newly established offices will function as workspaces for over 350 employees. These global capability centres will improve Arch’s capacity to support its Insurance, Reinsurance, and Mortgage Insurance sectors, while also allowing the company to tap into India’s skilled workforce in fields such as analytics, technology, and operations.
Prashant Nema, deputy chief operations officer at Arch said “We’re proud to establish a presence in India, a country with remarkable professional talent and a growing role in the global insurance ecosystem.”
He added, “These offices will help us scale key capabilities, strengthen service delivery for business operations around the world and drive innovation across Arch.”
Khaitan & Co. acted as the legal counsel for Arch in the creation of these global capabilities centres.
Arch has collaborated with ANSR Inc., a US-based firm that assists organisations in establishing and overseeing high-impact global teams worldwide, to create these global capabilities centres and ensure their long-term success.
